BIOGRAPHY OF LATE CPL ISHAYA DOMNAN ZHAKOM

Late CPL Ishaya Domnan Zhakom was born as a second child to Mr. & Mrs. Ishaya Nden Zhakom of Tunkun on 10th October, 1979.
He started and completed his primary education at LGEA primary school Tunkun-Langtang North and proceeded for his secondary education at Government Secondary School Kwanpe-Langtang North where he completed in 1997.
Meanwhile, because of his love for his siblings, he opted to join The Nigeria Police Force on 1st November, 2001 to be able to help in financing their education through his meager salary, which we as a family can testify that he did very well. Having served Nigeria for eight good years through the force, the then Inspector General of Police graciously promoted him to the rank of a Corporal with effect from 9th June, 2009.
Late Force No 234873, full of passion for education, later worked his transfer from Kano state where he was serving at the Dakata Police Divisional Headquarters as an Intelligent Police Officer (I.P.O) to Plateau command where he eventually got admission into the University of Jos.
Until his demised on 12th August, 2010, Corporal Zhakom was a gallant police Detective attached to Security Criminal Intelligence Bureau (C.I.B) State Police Headquarters- Jos, Plateau Command as well as 200 level student, Political Science, University of Jos with matriculation number UJ/2008/SS/0186.
The late CPL was a police officer with a different. He was a devoted Christian, baptized by Rev. S.T Maina (Rtd) on 31th October, 1993 at L.C.C Kwanpe- Langtang North. He was a communicant member worshipping with COCIN Laranto-Jos.
Corporal Zhakom of blessed memory before his death had attended courses at Police Training School Sokoto and Police Training School Benue. He had equally served at Dakata Police Divisional Headquarters Kano state, Angware, Laranto and CIB Jos, where he finally went home.
Left behind to mourn him are his parents (Mr. & Mrs. Ishaya Nden Zhakom), his Brothers, Sisters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunties, Officers And Men of The Nigeria Police Force, Lecturers, Students of the university of Jos and Friends like all of us.
Late CPL Ishaya Domnan Zhakom surrendered to the cold hands of dead after a brief illness and was confirmed by Dr Okojie O.A of Our Lady of Apostle (OLA) hospital Jos, at about 6:30am.
In conclusion, may God have mercy on his soul and grant him eternal rest at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ where we shall reunite forever.
